Frederickton is the next village north of Kempsey, on the Macleay Valley Way formerly known as the Pacific Highway. Home to the famous ‘Fredo Pies’ – all 160 different varieties. The town also has a general store, hotel, golf club, homewares store and park.

The park has views of the longest bridge in Australia, a boat ramp and picnic tables. It is an easy walk from the park to the Macleay River Hotel which offers indoor and alfresco dining bistro meals.

If you like to play golf, there is a nine hole course at the Frederickton Golf Club which has scenic views of the Lower Macleay and black cockatoos nest in the trees near the club house. Disc golf is also available upon request.
