Urunga is where the Kalang River and Bellinger River join the Pacific Ocean. The charming town is a 20 minute drive south of Coffs Harbour and 15 minutes from Bellingen.

The town is particularly popular for its waterways and peaceful ambience. Boating, fishing, swimming and picnicking are some of the favourite pastimes of locals as well as visitors to Urunga.
