Whitton is located 23 kilometres west of Leeton and was originally a focal point for workers transporting goods and people into the south western areas of New South Wales in the 1850s.

The railway line arrived in 1881 and the railway station became the nucleus of town. Admire the town’s historical buildings and visit the Whitton Courthouse Museum.
