Spinifex Ballooning

Half Day or Less

Spinifex Ballooning operates balloon flights in Alice Springs everyday, weather permitting. They have balloons suitable for four to 24 people in one balloon depending on the number of bookings on the day. Exclusive two people charters are also available on request and are perfect for honeymooners looking for a romantic experience or for those wanting a unique way to propose!

The desert at dawn with its soft colours and the MacDonnell Ranges in the background, provides a memorable start to the day. Red kangaroos are seen on most flights, as your balloon floats serenely across the remote open spaces of the Central Australian outback.

A glass of sparkling wine and fruit juice will be served ‘in the bush’ after every flight. Return transfers included.

What better way to see some of the most rugged and spectacular scenery in Central Australia.

Your morning begins before dawn when the wind is gentle and a new day is about to begin. Soaring majestically over the terrain you will be overcome by the awesome and vast landscape which stretches out endlessly underneath.

Watch the kangaroos grazing as the peaks of the ancient MacDonnell Ranges stretch out like a family of caterpillars crawling over the heart of Australia.

Return transfers from most accommodation in Alice Springs are included with pick up time approximately 1 hour before first light.

Spinifex Ballooning operate every day, weather permitting. It is recommended you book for the first available day in the area to allow for re-booking in case of bad weather.
