Overwhelming in scale – covering more than seven football fields – the installation invites immersion in a fantasy garden of 50,000 spindles of light, the stems breathing and swaying through a sympathetic desert spectrum of ochre, deep violet, blue, and gentle white.

The critically acclaimed Field of Light Uluru by the internationally celebrated artist Bruce Munro is now in its 10th year, marking a decade of lighting the desert landscape with more than 50,000 glowing spheres.
The exhibition is one of Munro’s largest installations, covering more than seven football fields, inviting you to wander through a fantasy garden of 50,000 spindles of light glowing in ochre, deep violet, blue, and gentle white.

The experience begins with a hotel pick-up and a short transfer to a private dune top, offering sweeping views of Uluru as the sun sets. Here, you’ll be welcomed by your host and treated to a chef-crafted tasting of four outback-inspired canapes, paired with Australian wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages. During this relaxed experience, your host will share insights and stories about the light installation that awaits you (approx. 1 hour).
As night falls, wander at your own pace through the Field of Light, surrounded by colours that ebb and flow in harmony with the desert (approx. 45 minutes).
