Junction Park offers free camping (donations welcome) in the pleasant and quiet rest area beside the Dawson River in Theodore, in the Banana Shire.
Suitable for caravans, there are 20 sites available which are located at the end of The Boulevard. Seven (7) night’s stay max.
Facilities available include coin operated ($1 coins only) hot showers, toilets, drinking water, barbecues and picnic tables. Fires allowed in built fireplaces – check local fire bans.
Access to the Dawson River via small gravel boat ramp off the banks allows for swimming, water skiing and fishing. Pet friendly.
