Mary River Farmstay

Our property is a
100 hectare cattle farm with 1 km of river frontage. Since the floods of 2022, parts of the STEEP river bank are unstable and should be accessed with caution. Kids should be supervised. We welcome
self-contained campers only (council regulations). This a great spot to wet your line with bass, saratoga, sooty grunter and lots of catfish! Platypus inhabit the river too, so bring your camera. Please note that the river bank is quite steep. The campsites have good access for all types of vehicles, however some camping areas require 4WD. Please get in touch if you’re unsure. We are pet friendly. The property is located 1 hour from Hervey Bay on the Fraser Coast.
Hervey Bay is a natural bay between the mainland and World Heritage-listed Fraser Island. Renowned for its visiting humpback whales, and the close and intimate Whale Watching experiences that the local fleet can offer, Hervey Bay is a popular playground for tourists all year round because of its mild climate.
