Rachel’s Cottage is a historical workers cottage built in 1898 as the family home of the Middleton family. It has been lovingly restored and refurbished by the Middleton Family descendants for guests’ comfort.
It is situated in the main street of Texas, just next door to one of the two grocery stores in town. Within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and general stores in town, it is an ideal opportunity to relax and enjoy the true hospitality of wonderful country people.
Rachel’s Cottage has two bedrooms, one with a brass bed and one with a four poster bed. Both are double beds and a sofa bed sleeping two in the lounge room. The lounge room has an open fireplace which is a wonderful place to gather around in winter. The bathroom has a claw foot bath, perfect for a luxurious bubble bath.
There are verandas to relax on and catch a breeze and a detached kitchen complete with wood stove to cook on if you like, or all the modern conveniences in the kitchen as well.

The cottage consists of two bedrooms and a lounge room that has a sofa bed that folds out to a double bed. There are lots of blankets and doonas, the two main beds have electric blankets. When you book you get the whole cottage.
