The Avocado Tree Farm

We are certified organic and practice biodynamic farming methods for healthy soil and regenerative agriculture. Our farm is home to John and Jules, our kids, cattle, sheep, chickens, two gorgeous tiny homes and our dogs Pip and Evie. In 2023, we located Claudine (the tiny home) on our property and were overwhelmed with the success and lovely comments from guests. In 2024, we completed the building of Henry and opened up the cabin to guests in March. We absolutely love living here and want to enable others to enjoy the spectacular views, reconnect with nature, and switch off from busy lives. Your hosts are John and Julia Tidy. We moved from New Zealand to The Avocado Tree Farm, a property of 80 acres, in 2003.

Over the years, we have expanded the avocado orchard, become certified organic, raised two wonderful kids, and have hosted many backpackers, family and friends.
