Kooyalee Campsite & Chalet

Restful “Kooyalee” is a perfect family, group or solo traveler camping spot. There is space for all! Our 4.2 ha property has lovely cleared, grassy camping areas under the trees providing peaceful and quiet surrounds for you and your family to enjoy. Relax around the fire and roast marshmallows, enjoy the sunset and uninterrupted star gazing. Kooyalee Chalet is also available for groups. Kooyalee is located 20 minutes from the coastal town of Yeppoon and Rockhampton CBD. If you love adventure, Kooyalee sits on the doorstep of excellent hiking and mountain biking trails. Set up camp and use the property as your base to explore the area. Friendly wallabies and occasional kangaroos also like to share this delightful property with our guests. Guests can use the outdoor toilet/shower facilities. Fire is allowed only within existing firepits NOT during the fire season when bans in place (usually summer). Please bring ample drinking /washing up water. Existing on-site facilities are not available to campers (incl. water) however we look forward to sharing the facilities and other accommodation options with you soon.
