Farmstays

Fordsdale Farmstay is 1000 acres of tranquil bushland and grazing property situated in the Lockyer Valley, west of Brisbane. They offer a 22 year old wheelchair friendly, four bedroom brick farm homestead as a weekender. The house is fully furnished and all linen is supplied. The house includes two bedrooms containing queen size beds, one bedroom containing two single beds and one bedroom with two double bunk beds. There is a large kitchen, a family room with a large dining table, and a carpeted formal lounge. Families are welcome to bring family pets, they have a fully fenced yard with childproof gates.

Camping is also available on the property. It best suits people with tents and camper trailers. Families and friends have plenty of room to spread out. They like their guests to have a peaceful stay. As many of the families who come to Fordsdale have young children, they ask that you please leave your motorbikes at home. Family dogs are most welcome but need to be supervised at all times.

Horse riding is offered on the property and four-wheel-drive owners can go exploring in their vehicles.

The Farmstay also offers fully catered horse riding holidays and associated packages.
