Situated in Brisbane’s closest rainforest, only 45 minutes from the city and at an altitude of 680 metres is Mt Glorious Getaway Cottages and Conference Centre. The cottages have been built with every comfort in mind and all have views through the rainforest to Moreton Island.
This is the perfect place to really relax and enjoy the absolute peace and seclusion offered. All the cottages have full cooking facilities and a fireplace to keep you warm on chilly nights, which are features of this mountain paradise. You’ll love the tranquillity and magical feel of this special place.
This is a birder’s paradise and you are sure to see all the birds common to this area as well as some of the rarer species. For those who are more active, there are extensive walking tracks in the adjoining Maiala National Park. There is also a small conference room suitable for groups of up to 25 as well as a wonderful ‘rainforest amphitheatre’ which is perfect for marquee weddings or other functions.
