Stonesthrow

Stonesthrow is a 51 acre property with council approval for limited camping (4WD only – leave no trace). So if you want to escape the crowds at public campgrounds, your privacy and enjoyment are assured!

It adjoins its 55 acre sister property – Far Grove, meaning that you can camp on Stonesthrow, yet enjoy both properties, including 500 m of creek frontage, kms of walking/riding trails and grassy creek flats for recreational activities.

Over the decades, the properties have been used to farm goats, train racing camels and spell racehorses. Far Grove also has a variety of fruit trees and plantation timber. Well behaved dogs welcome. The common area (old shearing shed) has portaloos, communal fridge, microwave, jug, drinking water, sink for washing up, table/chairs and fire pit. When booking –
