The Tully River is Australia’s premier white water rafting river offering awesome grade 3 & 4 rapids!
Relax on the scenic drive south before arriving in Tully, one of Australia’s wettest towns and home of some epic white water rafting!
You’ll have the chance to grab a bite before heading to the top of the river, here you’ll be fitted out in your rafting gear and given a full safety briefing by your highly trained river guide.
Once in the raft you’ll receive additional training on rafting techniques and paddling commands before it’s time to hit the white water! The first big rapid you’ll encounter is Alarm Clock, rightly named because it will definitely wake you up!
Tackling these grade 3 & 4 rapids, you’ll see pretty quickly how the Tully earned it’s reputation for awesome rafting and why it was selected as the river for the 2019 IRF World Rafting Championships!
Your tour includes an afternoon of rafting and afterwards we head to the Feluga Hotel, the Tully home of Raging Thunder for a hearty pub dinner with your guide and crew while comparing stories and immersing yourself in a living history of Raging Thunder from the early 1980’s.
