Night Sky Secrets Astronomy dinner tours feature a hot meal at sunset, then viewing the night sky, in a wilderness location, with guided commentary, through large Aperture Telescopes.
Tours are typically self-driven, transport can be arranged for groups of four or more people on request.
The tour begins with a shared meal at sunset at their beautiful lakeside location. They explore sparkling star clusters, nebula, Galaxies and the planets. Their fireside talks & billy tea incorporate an aboriginal perspective of the night sky. Their tours are for the curious, novice stargazer through to the experienced astronomer.

The small group tours are from our beautiful dark sky wilderness site 1hr from Cairns CBD. You’ll begin with a meal shared at sunset (Covid Safe), then under the stars, reveal hidden Nebula, Galaxies, Star Clusters and Planets with large aperture telescopes and a guided tour. Concluding with tea around the campfire and ancient star tales. Tours suit the curious, through to the experienced Astronomer seeking to see the delights of the Northern Australian skies, during our tropical dry season.
