Be greeted at the Kuranda terminal/train platform by the friendly guide, who will drive guests into the vibrant “Village in the Rainforest.” Enjoy around two hours of free time to explore colourful arts and crafts markets, cafes, restaurants, and wildlife attractions. No long walks required — this tour is mobility-friendly. Travel on one of Australia’s most spectacular rail journeys aboard the Kuranda Scenic Railway.
Finish the day at stunning Palm Cove, sipping a refreshing sunset cocktail, wine, beer, or soft drink at own expense along the palm-fringed Esplanade. before returning to Port Douglas with unforgettable memories.

Kuranda Day Tour – Late Start (Skyrail & Scenic Railway)
Departing Port Douglas daily at 11:00 am, this tour travels to Kuranda aboard the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway. Enjoy free time in Kuranda Village before returning on the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway. The journey home includes a scenic stop at Palm Cove, with time for cocktails (at own expense).
Kuranda Day Tour – Early Start (Scenic Railway & Skyrail)
Departing daily at 8:00 am, this experience begins on the Kuranda Scenic Railway, followed by free time in Kuranda Village. Guests return via Skyrail, with a stop at Palm Cove for afternoon tea (at own expense).
Kuranda Budget Tour
Available daily at 8:00 am or 11:00 am, this option travels to and from Kuranda Village by road with commentary from your local guide and approximately three hours of free time.
