Rainforest Connections Walk
Things To Do Diwan, Douglas, Queensland
Daintree Siesta offers facilitated Rainforest Connections forest therapy walks that showcase the oldest continuous rainforest in the world, the Daintree, located in the World Heritage UNESCO listed Wet Tropics.
Take a slow facilitated group stroll through the forest on our exclusive walking tracks.
Engage your senses and connect with the forest and each other. The walk includes:
Facilitated 2-hour immersive sensory rainforest walk experience led by a certified Forest Therapy guide with a series of invitations to connect with and experience the forest differently
Tea ‘under the trees’ to end the walk
The first certified Association of Nature and Forest Therapy guide in the Daintree leads groups of up to eight people on this experience. The practice is based on Japanese forest bathing or shinrin-yoku. Research shows that such activities such as this can improve physical and mental wellbeing.
Participants will walk through the rainforest and take time to slowly experience this ancient forest. They will be offered a series of invitations to assist with connecting with and discovering hidden gems of the diverse flora and fauna.
Slow down and immerse in the Australian rainforest, for an experience you will never forget.
