Set sail for a day’s adventure on the Coral Sea aboard Sailaway VI, visit an idyllic coral island complete with white sandy beaches and coconut palms, surrounded by magnificent coral gardens.
Upon arrival in the lagoon, guests can enjoy a guided snorkel with our marine biologist, straight from the beach. Later in the morning the crew will do a guided island nature walk of the island. After lunch there is time for a second snorkel from the boat mooring or join our 100% solar powered electric glass bottom boat. Finish off the day by soaking up the views as we sail back to Port Douglas.

Sailaway specializes in snorkeling with qualified marine biologist sharing their passion for the marine life with expert guiding and interpretation. It is a relaxing and invigorating way to travel. The Sunset Tour: Enjoy an exhilarating afternoon sail from 5.00pm – 6.30pm onboard our luxury Lagoon catamaran, sailed from France. Soak up the peace and tranquility of a tropical sunset over the Coral Sea with spectacular coastal views towards the Daintree Rainforest and Mossman Gorge whilst enjoying a welcome drink and some delicious canapés. Additional drinks are available for purchase onboard.

Not suitable for under 12 year olds. Guests would need to make their own way to our Sailaway Boathouse, located in the Crystalbrook Marina, Port Douglas.

This tour is ideal for those wanting a later departure with an afternoon at the island and a spectacular Sunset sail back to Port Douglas aboard a luxury sailing catamaran. You get about 3hrs on the island with snorkelling over the coral gardens in the blue lagoon and swim with turtles in their natural habitat. Take a trip on the glass bottom boat and explore with an island heritage walk. A delicious afternoon tea is served back on the boat with all beverages included in this tour (soft & alcohol).

Sailaway VII is a luxurious custom built sailing catamaran, sailing daily to the Outer Reef Mackay Coral Cays.

The adventure starts with an early departure from Port Douglas. Guests can sit back, relax and enjoy a sailing experience, following the coastline with views of the Daintree and Cape Tribulation.
