Take on the ultimate challenge with this 230km expedition from the Gold Coast to Moreton Island’s famous Tangalooma Wrecks.
Departing from Sanctuary Cove Superyacht Marina, this epic 8-10 hour ride will take you through twisting mangrove passages and along the dramatic Canaipa Passage cliffs before reaching the open waters of Moreton Bay.
Your guide will choose the first stop at either Dunwich, Amity Point, or Kooringal Gutter for a short break and refuel. From there, you’ll continue north to explore two of Moreton Island’s most iconic highlights:
• The Big Sandhills – giant, wind-shaped dunes rising 60 metres, offering breathtaking views across the bay.
• Tangalooma Wrecks – a cluster of sunken ships transformed into a vibrant marine habitat, home to coral, tropical fish, turtles, dolphins, and dugongs.
On the return journey, we’ll stop at our favourite rooftop restaurant Straddie Brewing Co—to recharge with a well-deserved feast before making the final ride home.
Expect to encounter incredible wildlife along the way, including dolphins, rays, turtles, humpback whales, and dugongs. Your guide will ensure safe and respectful encounters at all times.
