At Wavebreak Island ‘Beachcomber’ they will anchor so that guests can also have fun floating on the Aqua Lily Mat which they will tie up alongside! Your choice to have a swim, or even a quick spot of fishing while you’re there.

Explore the Islands of the Gold Coast Broadwater while enjoying the convenience of a boat pickup from central Surfers Paradise! Beachcomber Charters can take up to 12 guests on a beach-hopping 4 hour adventure! Guests embark from a central Surfers Paradise beach to cruise north along the waterways of the Nerang River, past stunning houses and mega yachts before we arrive at the pristine island beaches of Wavebreak Island on the Gold Coast Broadwater.
Wavebreak Island has the clearest water on the Broadwater, and it’s here where we’ll find a sheltered spot to drop anchor or pull ashore so that guests can enjoy swimming, relaxing on the float mat and even the option of snorkelling on request!
Whilst anchored guests can indulge in our delicious complimentary Platter while enjoying a glass of Prosecco for our adult guests. Soft drinks and bottled drinking water are also complimentary for your Charter.
For guests who wish to have a casual fish from Beachcomber we can venture north to the waters adjacent the picturesque Currigee, on South Stradbroke Island, to give our guests the chance to ‘wet a line’! Just let us know if you want the fishing rods on board!

Family Friendly Non Smoking Pet Friendly - EnquireFishing aboard ‘Beachcomber’ is a fun and comfortable Private Fishing Charter on the calm waters of Gold Coast’s Broadwater. We can take up to 8 guests on this calm-water fishing adventure!
Our Skipper and Deckhand will look after your group for the day, show you all their favourite fishing spots and help with all the fishing tips and tricks, as well as cleaning any legal sized fish that you choose to keep. Our Skipper is also a Chef, so he is happy to share his cooking tips for your catch.
Dependent on tides guests can also experience the fun of collecting their own fresh bait if they wish by ‘Yabby pumping’ on the Broadwater sand banks at low tide, the perfect bait for our resident Flatheads, Whiting and Bream!
The Broadwater is a sheltered body of water protected from the open ocean on the eastern side by South Stradbroke Island.
As an added bonus guests can order a selection of food options such as Cheese & Fruit Platters, Buckets of Prawns or Ham & Salad Rolls so that their trip is fully catered as well! Complimentary soft drinks and bottled drinking water are provided.

Escape to an Island Paradise! Let ‘Beachcomber Charters’ take you on the only Boat Tour from central Surfers Paradise to a remote part of South Stradbroke Island, the Gold Coast’s best kept secret – a place known as ‘Tipplers’.
This exclusive small group tour is limited to 12 guests per day due to the pristine environment of South Stradbroke Island.
Guests enjoy a one-hour (25-kilometer) boat trip past the sights of Surfers Paradise, north into the waterways and wilderness of Southern Moreton Bay Marine Park.
Once arriving at ‘Tipplers’ guests have two hours to enjoy this piece of Paradise.
Guests can choose to join our guide on the ‘Tipplers Walking Trail’. This is a 45-minute guided walk that leads visitors across the island through an Australian native forest to the remote eastern beach – this is the perfect for a photography or viewing the passing Humpback Whales during their June – October migration!
On the return to Tipplers guests can order from the Tipplers Café.
Tipplers Café serves a delicious selection of food and drinks, and it is here that our guests can order lunch or indulge in an Island cocktail if they choose before the return boat cruise.
