Nhuralama’s Shop

Galleries, Museums and Collections

Showcasing First Nations artists and businesses Nhuralama’s Shop located in the historic Old Flour Mill is a treasure trove for art lovers, people looking for authentic Indigenous products and gifts. Owner Anne has curated a selection of artworks from local artists and those further afield, reflecting the diversity of mobs and locations across Australia.

Anne herself is from Ipswich and a proud Wakkaya/Wombaya/ Waanyi Woman and artist whose works can also be found in the shop. She created Nhuralama’s Shop as a space for people to immerse themselves in First Nations art, culture, and craftsmanship. It is a place where art lovers and culture enthusiasts can gather and experience the rich heritage of Ipswich and the surrounding regions.

In store you can find First Nations artworks, boomerangs, didgeridoos, clapsticks and traditional gifts alongside homewares, jewellery, clothing, books, food items, lotions and rubs – all inspired by Indigenous culture.

Nhuralama’s Shop is a bright space for customers to engage with and purchase art and cultural items, moving beyond online shopping to foster a personal connection to culture and community.
