Rampage Axe Throwing opened at North Booval in early 2023, tucked in behind the Rage Cage Smash Rooms that opened a few months earlier. Owner Matthew Pendragon is no stranger to unusual entertainment venues, with other Smash Rooms, at Southport and Browns Plains, well established. He is also an avid axe thrower and competes in a league in Brisbane.
So what happens in this venue, you ask? Smashing question. Axe throwing is a sport that involves throwing axes at a wooden target. It’s a chance to unleash some energy and competitive spirit.
The venues are for adults aged 18 and over, or minors aged 12 to 17 accompanied by an adult.
