Looking for a fun and free family day out? Visit Settlement Cove Lagoon in Redcliffe. This tropical-themed lagoon is a public pool that is a popular spot for families.

The palm tree-lined swimming lagoon is great for all ages, while young children can enjoy the partly shaded kids’ pool with its exciting mushroom and gecko fountains. There’s also a playground with swings and a slide nearby if the kids prefer to stay dry.

If you want to get your steps in, you can walk alongside the seafront to the Redcliffe Jetty. Don’t forget to bring your bikes too, the bikeways link to the jetty and Southern Redcliffe Point.

For a hot lunch, use the sheltered barbecue and picnic facilities or head into Redcliffe, where you’ll find a range of cafes and restaurants.
