Eastwell Farms – Grass-Fed Beef and Gourmet Mushrooms

Agri, Mining and Industry

Eastwell Farms is a family-owned-and-operated farm based in Kin Kin in the Noosa Hinterland. The farm specialises in growing grass-fed Nguni beef and gourmet mushrooms such as lion’s mane, oyster, and reishi mushrooms.

Regularly hosting open days, regenerative agriculture information days, and farm tours, Eastwell Farms is intent on sharing the story of how beef and mushrooms are grown, and the roles animals and fungi play in the wider ecosystem.

The farm works closely with Slow Foods Noosa, an organisation which supports and drives the local food economy, reducing food travel miles. This principle is wholly supported by the farm. Emphasis is regularly placed on the necessity to buy, shop, and eat local. Eastwell offers produce for purchase via their website, at farmer’s markets, in grocery stores around the Sunshine Coast, and on the menu of restaurants like Cafe Le Monde and Sofitel Noosa.

The farm is deeply involved in its local community, regularly donating to or supporting local events and organisations.
