Luna Tick is a clown who cleans up after circus performances. She dreams of performing, however she cannot juggle or perform normal circus tricks. Should she give up her dream? Instead, Luna puts aside self-consciousness, anxieties and expectations to take the stage in her own quirky style.

‘Circus So Lame’ is a solo act that fuels children’s imagination, tickles the funny bone and encourages audience participation. Also speaks strongly to people who feel they have lost their joyful sense of play. Suitable for children (esp. 3-8 years) and the young at heart. Discover the magic of a little ‘luna-cy’ in your life.

Written and performed by Helen McKenzie-Ross. Helen is a trained stage and screen actor who has a love of clown. Helen has undergone clown and slapstick workshops with Jesture Movement, Brisbane and Art of The Clown Intensive with Mikhail Ustov, Artistic Creator from Cirque du Soleil.’ Helen is also a published children’s author and former primary and kindergarten teacher.
