The Calliope Historical Village Markets are held regularly along the banks of the Calliope River only 26 kilometres from Gladstone and 100 kilometres south of Rockhampton! A lovely relaxed markets with something to suit the whole family.
Grab a drink or a bite to eat and sit with your family under the shady trees. Bring the kids along for a ride on the famous miniature train or just come along to view the abundance of homewares, fresh produce, plants and bric-a-brac for sale.
While there don’t forget to visit the village’s historic buildings and spend some time looking at the interesting displays including the Calliope River Railway Display.
