The Great Noosa Trail Walk

Step into nature and experience one of Queensland’s most unique walking events.

The Great Noosa Trail Walk is a three-day trek through the stunning hinterland of the Noosa region. From breathtaking mountain lookouts to rolling farmland and charming country towns, this community-based event invites you to explore, connect and breathe with like-minded hikers.

Over the October long weekend, you’ll traverse up to 56km of stunning Noosa Biosphere trails linking the towns of Cooroy, Kin Kin, Cooran, and Pomona. Each day offers new scenery – think tall forests, hidden creeks, open country, and sweeping views across the hinterland to the coast.

They’ll carry the bags – you just enjoy the trail. Your Great Noosa Trail Walk entry includes:
Daily trail support and friendly volunteer guides
Luggage transport between each trail town
Some morning and afternoon tea stops with local produce
Daily briefings and maps
Access to evening community dinners and entertainment (optional, pay as you go)

Participants may pitch their own tent at their pre-arranged campsites (luggage, including packed tents moved daily), or arrange their own accommodation in each trail town. A great chance to discover local B&Bs, country pubs and farm stays.
