Straddievarious Gallery – Philip Farley Earth, Sea and Sky Exhibition

Exhibition and Shows

16 May 2026 to 28 Jun 2026 Once Only Event

A spectacular collection of original paintings by renowned Bayside Artist, Philip Farley.

Philip’s finished painting is always a thing of beauty. Each work demonstrates his mastery of fine art and his love of this place we call home, in all its diversity. His paintings invite you to linger over the shoreline of Wellington Point. To be transported by the luminous detail of feathers, waves, skin and sky. To wonder at the artist’s seemingly magical ability to conjure the salty tang of an afternoon sea breeze with paint on canvas.

Born and raised in the Bayside area, Philip, his wife Carrol, and their three children has called the region home for over 40 years. The natural beauty of the area has inspired his finest works. After studying at the Queensland College of Art, Philip initially worked as an illustrator before transitioning into a full-time fine artist of more than 35 years.

Philip has received numerous awards and accolades for his landscapes, portraits, and wildlife paintings and is internationally recognised for his ability to capture minute detail, colour and light with extraordinary accuracy. He has sold over 20,000 limited edition prints, with many prints selling out completely.

Philip’s work has also attracted a wide range of private commissions, including a recent large-scale painting for F1 superstar Oscar Piastri—a gift to the Crown Prince of Bahrain by Oscar.
