The Stanthorpe Apple and Grape Harvest Festival has been crushing it since 1966 — and 2026 marks its 60th Anniversary! One of Queensland’s most iconic regional events, the festival celebrates the Granite Belt’s rich produce, award-winning wines, and welcoming community spirit.
Across 10 days, visitors can indulge in the best of the region with highlights including the Grape Crushing Championships, the colourful Grand Parade, the Queensland Country Bank Food and Wine Fiesta, and the beloved Banchetto Italiano long lunch. Expect buskers on every corner, live music, markets, a steam train, open gardens, fireworks, and plenty of family fun.
The first weekend (27 February – 1 March 2026) features the South East Queensland Finals of the Australian National Busking Championships and the famous Italian long lunch celebrating Stanthorpe’s proud heritage. The excitement builds to the finale weekend (6 – 8 March 2026), when the streets of Stanthorpe come alive with parades, grape crushing, and non-stop entertainment.
Attracting more than 60,000 visitors, the Stanthorpe Apple and Grape Harvest Festival is a true celebration of community, culture, and country hospitality — and the 60th Anniversary in 2026 will be one to remember!
