Located at Daintree Siesta in Diwan, our licensed, open-air restaurant offers peaceful tropical dining surrounded by birdsong and rainforest greenery.
We’re open for lunch and dinner, Sunday to Friday (12–2pm & 5:30–7pm). Bookings are preferred by phone or email. Hours may vary.
The menu includes wild-caught barramundi, classic favourites like spaghetti bolognese, hearty curries and lighter dishes. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options are available, and we’re happy to accommodate group dietary needs with advance notice.
This is an ideal stop for small group tours seeking an unhurried, nature-rich experience. Guests often enjoy a slow meal before or after our guided Rainforest Connections Walk — a two-hour, forest-bathing-style experience exclusive to staying guests.
Daintree Siesta is a family-owned, eco-certified rainforest retreat with accommodation, campground, guest exclusive private walking tracks and nature-based experiences. Located 30 minutes north of the Daintree River ferry on sealed road.
