Visitor Information Centres
Miles Visitor Information Centre is a one stop shop for travel information including maps, brochures and fact sheets. The Centre sells ice-creams, chocolate bars and cold drinks in its kiosk. A lovely variety of souvenirs and local arts and craft/produce are also available for purchase. Free Wi-Fi internet access is available in the reception area.
Staffed by skilled and knowledgeable locals, the Centre can assist you in your adventure into the heart of the Western Downs region with advice on the things to see and do, the best attractions to explore and local happenings.
The Miles Visitor Information Centre is situated on the Warrego Highway at the eastern entrance to town, with plenty of parking for vehicles of all sizes. A skate park, playground for the kids, picnic tables and barbecue facilities are all nearby. Grab your selfie at the fabulous MILES sign located in Morgan Place park. The Miles VIC also combines with the reception for the Miles Historical Village Museum and admission tickets may be purchased here.
