Shute Harbour Marine Terminal is a premier marine transport and tourism hub in the Whitsundays. It provides seamless access to the Whitsunday Islands through a range of experiences, including ferry services, water taxis, private charters, glass-bottom boat tours, and water-based activities such as kayaking and water biking.

Home to nine tourism operators, the terminal supports a wide variety of experiences, from guided tours to independent adventures. On-site dining is available at 74 Islands Bar and Bistro, offering refreshments with a view. A flexible function space caters to community and private events. Fuel services support both commercial and private vessels, adding convenience for all marine users.

The terminal services over 30 cruise ship arrivals annually, welcoming vessels from Viking Ocean Cruises, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruise Line. Cruise passenger numbers range from 2,000 to 6,000 per visit, making it a key entry point for international visitors to the Whitsundays.
