Situated approximately eight kilometres out of Bundaberg towards Gin Gin is the small town of Sharon. The Sharon Gorge is a further four kilometres along the highway, and is home to a tranquil area with rainforests, ferns, palms and orchids. A walkway leads down to the Burnett River, and presents many opportunities for a pleasant stroll.
