Mooloolaba Ferry is the first regular passenger ferry service travelling along the picturesque canals between Mooloolaba and Kawana Waters on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

Offering 6 -7 trips per day, each 45-minute journey connects passengers to some of the Coast’s most popular locations:

The Wharf Mooloolaba – A bustling tourism hub known for its attractions, exciting water-based activities, and restaurants. This stop provides easy access to Mooloolaba Beach and Mooloolaba Esplanade.

Pier 33 – A premier waterfront venue that blends stunning views with exceptional dining, making it a must-visit stop for events, casual dining, or simply enjoying the riverfront ambiance.

Fisheries on the Spit – The home of the iconic Mooloolaba prawn, the freshest seafood straight from the trawlers and the best fish and chips on the Coast.

La Balsa Park – This serene spot at Point Cartwright is the local’s favourite, perfect for walks to the lighthouse for stunning coastal views, swimming, picnics, fishing, enjoying the playground and marina views.

The Kawana Hotel – A popular local spot in Buddina, offering great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and easy access to Kawana Shopping World and Event Cinemas.

With space for 54 passengers on board the ferry is designed to accommodate everyone, including pushbikes and pets, ensuring a welcoming and flexible travel experience for all.
