Barossa 1900 Homestead
Where To Stay Tanunda, Barossa, South Australia
Welcome to Barossa 1900 Homestead, stylish accommodation for up to 8 people in the beautiful Barossa Valley, one hour from Adelaide.
Barossa 1900 Homestead is nestled at the foothills of Barossa Ranges, in walking distance to Tanunda cellar doors, restaurants, breweries and retail shopping.
As a sister property to Barossa 1900 Vineyard Retreat located a short walk away, together these two properties sleep 18 people – ideal for groups, wedding parties, special occasions, families and couples.
Built in 1900, the well-appointed bluestone homestead retains beautiful period features including timber floorboards, fireplace surrounds, ceiling roses and traditional cast iron kitchen range. Four bedroom suites each offer a king-size bed, and two of the beds convert to king singles to provide flexible sleeping arrangements.
The return verandah affords views of rolling vineyards and is the perfect spot to watch the sun set over the horizon. Guests have full access to the front and rear gardens, outdoor entertaining area, barbecue, fire pit and verandah. Parking for four vehicles, including undercover parking in the restored heritage barn, is free of charge.
