Sonbern Lodge motel

First opened in 1915, Sonbern Lodge has been a welcome haven for many travelers. Over the years the building has under gone many changes and now offers “Quality Accommodation”. All rooms have ensuite, hairdryer, s/s rev-cyc. air conditioning, LCD TV, fridge, microwave, cutlery & crockery and tea/coffee making facilities as standard features.

The Deluxe Motel units, are located on ground level, behind the Lodge & adjacent the off street car park. These units offer a higher level of accommodation and open onto the courtyard garden. Extra inclusions are a microwave & toaster, LCD TV & sofa and a larger bathroom, ( 4 with kitchenette facilities). All have split rev.cycle air conditioning and outdoor sitting area.

This Grand historic building still retains many of the original features, such as its magnificent blackwood stair case and ornate ceiling roses and beautiful fireplace and mantel, in the period Dining room. We offer quiet night right in the heart of the town at a realistic price. Many Dining options are available for evening meals, just a very short walk away.
