Gleesons Landing Bush Campground
Where To Stay Corny Point, Yorke Peninsula, South Australia
Nestled 41 km from Warooka (via White Hut Road and Gleesons Road—unsealed and potentially corrugated, especially in dry conditions), Gleesons Landing Bush Campground offers a network of winding tracks leading to secluded campsites, many with ocean views or just a short walk from the water. If you’re towing a larger rig, it’s wise to scout on foot first, as space can be limited during busy periods.
Bin banks are available on-site, though they may fill quickly in peak times—campers are encouraged to take rubbish with them or use bin banks in Warooka, Minlaton, or Yorketown. Several toilets are provided, but self-sufficient camping is still recommended.
For fuel, supplies, or a tavern visit, Marion Bay is the nearest town. Alternatively, Warooka (on your way in or out) offers a full range of amenities, including a supermarket, pharmacy, butcher, hotel, petrol station, and Visitor Information Outlet.
A peaceful, scenic retreat with a touch of adventure—perfect for those who love exploring off the beaten path!
