Our Hold A Koala Experience provides you the opportunity to hold a koala, interact with a dedicated koala keeper, and gain a deeper understanding of these iconic marsupials.

The Daily Reptile Hold provides an opportunity for guests to get up-close to some of Australia’s native iconic snakes and lizards. Those participating in this experience are able to hold a reptile, whilst spending time with the keeper and learning interesting facts about reptile adaptations and behaviours, and the importance of reptiles in the environment.

Enjoy this exclusive tour with our experienced bird keeper before the park opens (when the birds are most active!). There will be plenty of time to ask questions and take photos of birds in the Mallee, Forest and Swamp Aviaries.

We even provide you with special food, so you can get up-close to some of our animals and hand-feed them.
Tour Highlights:
Tours can comprise of a general exploration of the park, or they can be tailored to the specific interests of your group.
Generally, a Guided Day Tour includes: visiting the Red Kangaroos and Tasmanian Devils, hand-feeding some of the park’s friendly inhabitants, such as kangaroos, wallabies, emus and water birds, viewing the koalas in their lofts and walking through one of our bird aviaries.

These birds have either been rescued or hand raised and have an affinity towards humans. They love to share their stories with you and offer you the chance to get up close with the birds and get to know them better

The Echidna Encounter provides an opportunity for guests to meet one of Australia’s native icons, the echidna. Those participating in this encounter enter the enclosure with the wildlife keeper, and assist with this unique opportunity of feeding these animals while learning all about their adaptations and behaviours, and the importance of echidnas in the environment.
