Barmera Memorial Gates

Landmarks and Buildings

Barmera Memorial Gates were originally erected to commemorate the local 18 soldiers who died in service or were killed in action of World War Two. A wreath laying service is held here every Remembrance Day. Additional plaques were added to the gates to commemorate Post World War Two conflicts up to, and including, the Vietnam War.
