Red Rosie, a unique scent studio in Australia, is your go-to for discovering your signature scent.

The hands-on workshops offer a guided journey into scent design, allowing you to explore everything from naturally-occurring scents such as vetiver or rose absolute to the sweet spices of cardamom and clove or the more man-made experiences of freshly cut green grass and petrichor. Their goal is to capture your emotions and aspirations, delivering personalised candles or perfumes.

Choose between perfume-making or candle-making workshops – perfect for gifting, bridal parties, team building, or a cozy rainy day. With all materials provided, you can sip, smell, and socialize while immersing yourself in this scent-sational experience. Plus, enjoy a complimentary drink and gluten-free brownie during the workshop.

Perfume Mixology Workshop

The most fun place to discover the world of perfumery! You will learn about perfume composition and the aromatic materials used in perfumery, fragrance families and top middle and base notes. You will learn smelling techniques and tips on how to experiment, create and blend a scent that you connect with and is uniquely yours.
Whether you want to work exclusively with naturals or want to experiment with mixed media, we’ve got you covered. Red Rosie has a scent library of over 100 perfumery materials including essential oils, absolutes, extracts, accords and aroma molecules all categorised into fragrance families. You will leave with a 30ml bottle of eau de parfum you made yourself! And you get to name it 🙂 We keep your formula on file so you can re-order it when you run out. Last but not least, there is a complimentary glass of South Australian sparkling wine for you to enjoy. Juice and tea and coffee facilities are also available.

Candle Mixology Workshop

Join for a fun and hands on experience exploring their candle fragrance scent library and design your own uniquely scented candle.

During this one hour workshop, you can expect to make your own 250 gram soy based candle, designed with your own unique scent, and customised with your own label! A complimentary bubbles or juice is included in the experience too!

All candle fragrances are vegan and phthalate-free – designed especially for use in candles.

Please note that you will need to allow time for your candle to set for safe travelling. This is approximately two hours. You can explore other local experiences and come back to collect your candle during normal operating hours, or we can post your candles to you anywhere in Australia for a postage fee.
