Paul and Astrid Keen are the owner operators of Flinders Experience 4WD Tours.
Their tours depart any day on demand from Quorn, Hawker, Rawnsley Park Station and Wilpena Pound Resort/campground – and other locations in the Flinders by arrangement.
The 4WD tours offered throughout the Flinders Ranges can be either half, three quarter or full day tours. Tours include the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park and other dirt tracks through the Flinders Ranges as well as many places of interest.
They offer several different tours and will pick you up from your accommodation.
The Flinders Ranges offer endless photographic opportunities and they have a passion for the area they are proud to call home so they are happy to share this knowledge with you. They take a minimum of two and a maximum of four passengers for your comfort and can tailor a tour to suit your specific needs.
Enjoy the tranquility, flora and fauna and the fabulous views from the various lookout points. Tour through the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park and see yellow-footed rock-wallabies in Brachina Gorge.
The Flinders Ranges offers breathtaking scenery and vibrant colours and a tour will give you a great overall understanding of this area.

We indulging in the beauty of the Moralana Scenic Drive as we cross 2 private properties and see spectacular views of the Elder Range and Wilpena Pound.
Travel through Ikara Flinders Ranges National Park which offers an abundance of arid land plants and the local wildlife – we always make time to search for the rare Yellow Footed Rock Wallaby.
We look at the amazing ancient geological rock formations of the Bunyeroo and Brachina Gorges, where we find rock formations up to 640 million years old as well as the ancient marine fossils of the Archaeocyatha – 530 million years old. And we will tell you how it all came to be
The scenery is stunning and diverse – from deep inside the gorges to the open expansive views from the Lookouts

On this tour we also see some of Hans Heysen’s (artist) favourite places, visit Stokes Hill Lookout to enjoy the magical view from this special location.

We spend the day looking at the very best of the Central Flinders Ranges. They explore the Ikara Flinders Ranges National Park and then further north.
The tour includes complimentary pub lunch at the Blinman cafe and morning tea and returns late afternoon (8+ hours).

Day One: Depart 8am. Travel through the heart of the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park via Bunyeroo Valley and Gorge, join the spectacular Brachina Gorge Geological Trail to learn about the geology on display and have time to observe the Yellow Footed Rock Wallaby. Then continue north to the Prairie Hotel for an indulgent lunch.
After lunch travel via the Copley Road with magical afternoon light highlighting the rock formations as you pass through sheep stations and the Vulkatana-Gammon Ranges National Park to arrive at the Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary – Check into your Mawson Room, dinner at the Native Pine Restaurant.
Day Two: Early breakfast before joining the exclusive, world famous, Arkaroola Ridgetop Tour – travel through the creeks, valleys and over the ridges of Arkaroola, to experience the amazing view from Sillers lookout and some lovely morning tea. (approx 4.5 hours)
After lunch (at Arkaroola), return to the Central Flinders via the historic copper mining town of Blinman to arrive back at your accommodation at Hawker, Rawnsley Park Station or Wilpena Pound
Arriving back at approximately 5.30pm.
