Departing from Kingscote, guests are collected from major hotels and accommodations for a three-hour evening adventure through the island’s wild landscapes.
As night falls, the island comes alive — Tammar Wallabies, Brush-tailed Possums, Kangaroos, and Owls emerge from the shadows. You’ll also enjoy a short guided walk to a local Penguin colony, where you can quietly observe these fascinating seabirds in their natural habitat.

Travel in a 4WD for this Nocturnal Tour where you will be able to observe wildlife including wallabies, kangaroos, possums owls and also penguins. On a clear night you will be able to observe the sky and the guide will point out the Milky Way, the Southern Cross and constellations visible on the night. Pick up from Kingscote only.
This two-and-a-half-hour package gives you the chance to see the more elusive and furtive animals that call the island home, including Stone Curlews, Boobook Owls, Brush-tailed Possums and maybe even an Echidna. Spot Western Grey Kangaroos grazing in open grasslands, or discover Tammar Wallabies hiding in the shrub lands or amongst the undergrowth.
