Old Cemetery Kingscote

Historical Sites and Heritage Locations

This cemetery holds the remains of the Early Settlement inhabitants who arrived on Kangaroo Island in 1836.

South Australia’s oldest cemetery is now preserved, a reminder of Kingscote’s early heritage.

Many of the employees and descendants of the South Australia Company, which established Kingscote at Reeves Point, are buried in this cemetery.
