RAD KI holds a South Australian Marine Mammals Interaction Permit, allowing guests to get up close and personal with sea-lions, seals and dolphins, and even enter the water with them under the right conditions.

Spend the day exploring Kangaroo Island’s iconic Seal Bay, with a range of private experiences focussed around the endangered Australian Sea-lion.
Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation, and head straight for Seal Bay on Kangaroo Island’s south coast. This beach, now a protected zone within Seal Bay Conservation Park, is home to a colony of more than 800 Australian Sea-lions.
This tour includes a private beach experience, and private boardwalk experience. For an additional fee, you may choose to upgrade to the behind-the-scenes research experience where you will learn about the latest research being conducted, discover how equipment is used and collect valuable data to aid further conservation into the species.
Following the tour, return to your accommodation.

Welcome to Kangaroo Island! This full-day Kangaroo Island Wildlife and Scenic Tour is designed for cruise ship passengers to explore the island in one day.
Your guide will greet you at the Penneshaw terminal, and the adventure begins with a stop at Pennington Bay, a scenic surf beach where dolphins often play. Enjoy home-baked morning tea here.
Next, visit Clifford’s Honey Farm, where you’ll sample Ligurian Bee honey products and try honey ice cream.
Travel along the scenic Northern Coast, learning about local industries and spotting wildlife. Take a short walk to see the endangered Glossy Black Cockatoo and its nesting boxes.
At Stokes Bay, explore fascinating rock formations and Australia’s Best Beach. Look for shorebirds, dolphins, and raptors like the Eastern Osprey.
