Tscharke are an organic and biodynamic farm and winery on the Barossa Valley Western Ridge. They offer wines that exhibit terroir and are estate grown, made, and cellared.

Experience, The Underground. Delve into a multi-sensory underground world where pure imagination meets the romance of wine.
Begin with a guided cellar tour before descending into a signature tasting experience, held deep beneath the winery in our temperature-controlled underground cellar. The air sits naturally between 11–14°C year-round – perfect for both wine and reflection.
Limited to a small number of guests, this intimate experience explores new releases and aged wines while sharing the story of our estate vineyards on the Western Ridge of the Barossa Valley.
Underground Cellar Experience – Experience an exclusive tasting in the Underground Cellar, including wines from the Gnadenfrei collection. This option also includes a winery and cellar tour, with a duration of 2- 2.5 hours. Limited access for some guests – stairs leading to the Underground Cellar.

Carpark Non Smoking Public ToiletThe Museum Room is now available for private group bookings, offering a more intimate and curated experience. Designed for groups of six or more, this one-hour tasting includes a guided glimpse into their Underground Cellar along with a structured Cellar Door wine tasting.
Museum Room Experience – Group bookings of 6-14 people in our Museum Room. This option includes a tour of the Underground Cellar. 1 – 1.5 hours duration.

The Tscharke cellar door was designed and prefabricated in Germany before being carefully shipped to the Barossa and assembled onsite in Marananga.
Situated at the front of their Stone Well Estate, the Cellar Door overlooks the vineyard itself – allowing you to take in the rhythms of farming in real time. As you taste, they’ll guide you through wines grown on this estate and from the Gnadenfrei vineyard, connecting each glass back to the land it comes from.
