Historical Sites and Heritage Locations

Loxton District History Boards is a pictorial history of Loxton and the surrounding district is showcased on 27 large double-sided boards lining a paved walkway in the middle of the town’s main street.

It includes almost 130 photographs and explanatory text, the boards feature information on the town’s Aboriginal, farming, sporting and wartime history.
An overview board outlining all of the topics covered can be found at the rear of the Loxton Library and Visitor Centre building.
