Cruises operate aboard the custom-built Qatar, a comfortable 11-seater vessel ideal for intimate, personalised experiences.
Guests are hosted by locals James and Sandra, who are known for their friendly, informative hospitality. They share the stories of the landscape, its wildlife and rich river culture as guests enjoy a slow-paced journey past majestic limestone cliffs, gum-lined banks and abundant birdlife including pelicans cormorants and whistling kites.
A variety of cruise options are available, including two-hour, three-hour and Design Your Own day cruises. Sunset cruises are especially popular, offering a chance to see the cliffs glow and spot kangaroos coming to the water’s edge.

Leaving Waikerie Riverfront on board Qatar we will cruise downstream on the smooth waters of the River Murray, seeing the houseboat marina, wildlife and the majestic limestone cliffs.
Enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee and a local platter on board.
Turning around at Broken Cliffs we head back upstream to Waikerie Riverfront.
Local wines and beers will be available to purchase from our licensed bar along with an assortment of other drinks.
The Broken Cliffs Cruise will keep you entertained for approximately 3.5 hours.
