Gemtree Wines is an award-winning, certified organic and biodynamic winery in McLaren Vale, South Australia.
Bordered by the hills and the coast, Gemtree’s sustainable Tasting Room takes in elevated views over McLaren Vale to the ocean beyond. Powered by solar panels and built with recycled materials, their deck is an intimate space to taste and discover their collection of premium organic wines.
Located at the Tasting Room is the Gemtree Biodynamic Hut, an interactive and educational wine experience providing guests with a deeper understanding of biodynamic viticulture.
Visitors can choose from a selection of carefully curated experiences that deliver a perfect blend of nature, food, and wine only 45 minutes from the Adelaide CBD and 15 minutes from the pristine beaches of the south coast.

Then, enjoy a relaxing guided tour of Gemtree’s Biodynamic Hut and native garden where you’ll learn about biodynamic grape growing and sustainable winemaking, and see firsthand how this philosophy is applied in the vineyards.
Complete your tour with a delicious regional platter featuring some of the Vale’s finest produce, cheeses, condiments and locally baked breads as you take in the view from Gemtree’s elevated deck.

Gemtree Tasting Experiences can be self-curated or if you prefer, leave it to them and they will guide you through a selection of their wines.
Their Tasting Experiences are conducted seated at your own individual table. To ensure they can accommodate you and your companions, bookings are recommended and groups are capped at a maximum of six people.
