As a licensed Marine Parks operator, their boat charter season runs October through April, and their Yorke Peninsula dive tours can run all year round (weather dependent). If boat diving, you’ll head out on Alladin, our fully surveyed 8.9m aluminium dive vessel, purpose-built for diving comfort and safety. Shore dives will meet at the location, and all equipment can be provided if required.

Qualified divers can book small-group tours with our experienced local guides. Relax, cruise along the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula coastline in our boat, or join one of their Yorke Peninsula Shore Diving Tours and enjoy some of Australia’s most iconic diving.

Boat Charter - Scuba Diving Tour

Discover the best of South Australia’s underwater world with a guided dive tour departing from the Fleurieu Peninsula, led by the experienced team at Underwater Sports. Join our dive professionals for an unforgettable adventure exploring Second Valley, the iconic ex-HMAS Hobart wreck, or a combination of both. The prime season for diving in these locations runs from November through to April, offering ideal conditions and vibrant marine life.

As a Marine Park Accredited Tour Operator—and the only operator to run regular dive tours to the ex-HMAS Hobart—Underwater Sports delivers a safe, enjoyable, and expertly guided experience. Step aboard Alladin, our purpose-built and fully surveyed 8.9m dive charter vessel, and relax as we journey from Wirrina Cove along the stunning coastline to Second Valley or out to the ex-HMAS Hobart. Keep an eye out—dolphin sightings are common and add a special touch to the trip.

With 29 years under the same South Australian family ownership, we know that investing more time in our students creates safer, more confident divers who truly love their time underwater. Our training approach focuses on personalised support, skill development, and building your comfort and confidence at your own pace.

Your Open Water Diver course includes independent self-study, classroom theory review with your instructor, and three days of practical training—featuring confined water (pool) sessions and four ocean dives. We prioritise safe, positive learning conditions, which means we won’t take you to the nearest site if visibility or weather isn’t suitable. Be prepared to travel a little further for a better experience. If conditions are unsafe—whether due to weather or algal blooms—we will choose a safer location or reschedule to ensure your safety and enjoyment.

We offer a range of course options to suit your needs, including weekend or weekday schedules, budget group courses, flexible private classes, and fully private 1-on-1 training.
