Merrick Watts returns to the Adelaide Fringe with a brand-new wine tasting comedy show.

Mez (who, surprisingly, has genuine wine chops and, unsurprisingly, is an idiot) has been busy meticulously “researching” new wines for this latest show. It’s hard work, but someone’s got to do it.

For the uninitiated, An Idiot’s Guide to Wine is a wine tasting unlike any other. Each guest sips six wines, handpicked by Mez while he dishes out wine facts, food pairing suggestions and jokes about the French.

This is the perfect way to spend a sunny fringe afternoon, with great mates, great wines, and great comedy.

In Volume 3, expect unexplored varietals, fresh wine regions and new stories. Everything’s new except the idiot.
